Your role and responsibilities

Would you like to be at the front of delivering pulp and paper Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Solutions to our Global Customers? MES is a key cornerstone of industrial digitalization and our business and investments are rapidly growing in this area. Therefore we are looking for a Senior Project Manager for Pulp&Paper MES projects at ABB Oy, Process Industries Division in Helsinki, Varkaus, Oulu or Pirkkala to strengthen our team. In this role you will be a keyperson in our pulp and paper MES delivery projects. ABB's pulp and paper MES offers maximum performance for mills on the path to real-time visibility, operational intelligence, and automation across the value chain. Our MES is specifically designed for pulp and paper industry to help our customers to deliver the best operational results. Our comprehensive and modular solution covers all the core MES functionalities across the value chain, from order handling through customer service management. These modules work seamlessly together and can be integrated with ERP systems and other ABB Ability™ applications to help our customers to achieve new levels of operational efficiency. You will be mainly accountable for: • Overseeing all aspects of ongoing projects assigned to you • Developing project plans that identify resource and budgetary needs • Making sure the project is running on time and budget • Preparing status reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information • Leading project team so that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules • Facilitating change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget • Obtaining customer acceptance of project deliverables • Managing customer satisfaction within the project delivery period

Qualifications for the role

• Strong project management skills with several years of demonstrated experience in large-scale industrial IT and MES projects
• Knowledge and experience in Pulp&Paper industry
• Excellent communication and coaching / facilitation skills
• Confident to work with end customers on daily basis
• Fluency in English and Finnish. Good skills in Swedish are seen as an advantage
• Also seen as high asset:
• Experience on SAP, MS Project and AzureDevOps softwares.
• Familiarity with different methodologies like agile, SAFe, scrum, waterfall
• Knowledge and experience on paper production processes
