Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

To further strengthen its position and capitalize on future market potential, Produal is now seeking a dynamic CFO. As a key member of the executive team, the CFO will be responsible for overseeing all the financial activities of the company. This role will provide strategic financial leadership, ensure robust and compliant financial reporting, and support Produal’s continued growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Strategy and Planning:
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's long-term goals.
  • Lead the financial planning and analysis processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to the CEO and executive team on financial performance and strategic initiatives.
• Financial Reporting and Compliance:
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with local and international accounting standards.
  • Oversee the preparation of financial statements, management reports, and regulatory filings.
  • Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with all financial regulations and policies.
• Risk Management:
  • Identify and manage financial risks, including currency, interest rate, and credit risks.
  • Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures.
  • Ensure the company's financial stability and liquidity.
• Treasury and Cash Management:
  • Oversee cash flow management, including forecasting and optimizing cash reserves.
  • Manage banking relationships and negotiate financing arrangements.
  • Ensure efficient capital allocation and investment strategies.
• Team Leadership and Development:
  • Lead and mentor the finance team of five people, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Provide training and development opportunities to enhance the team's skills and capabilities.
  • Promote collaboration and effective communication within the finance department and across the organization.
• Strategic Partnerships and Stakeholder Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with various internal and external stakeholders (auditors etc).
  • Represent the company in financial discussions and negotiations.
  • If needed, support mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives.

Needed qualifications

• Master’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior financial leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of financial management, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
• Proficiency in financial software and tools.

Produal CFO can be located in Finland, either in Vantaa or in Kotka.

The CFO will work closely with key stakeholders, including the Produal Management Team, Extended Management Team, Country Managers, and members of the Bemsiq Group Finance Community. Given that Produal operates with numerous companies and countries, it is important for the CFO to function effectively as part of the Bemsiq Group too.
