Job Responsibilities

• Food Preparation & Cooking: Prepare a variety of Japanese Izakaya dishes, including warm and raw food items, according to restaurant standards.
• Service Coordination: Manage kitchen operations during service, ensuring timely and accurate preparation of dishes based on table orders and customer experience.
• Menu Execution: Follow recipes and plating instructions while also maintaining creativity and high-quality presentation.
• Ingredient Management: Ensure proper storage, handling, and freshness of ingredients while minimizing waste.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth communication and efficient service.
• Kitchen Cleanliness & Safety: Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to food hygiene and safety standards.

Requirements

Multitasking Skills: Ability to handle multiple orders simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to Detail: Focus on presentation, taste, and quality.
Team Player: Good communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
Basic English or Finnish Proficiency: Ability to understand and communicate kitchen instructions.
