As a Senior Embedded Software Engineer,

in a consultant assignment, you’ll design, develop, and optimize low-level code for embedded systems in demanding client projects – one at a time, of course.
In this one, you’ll be developing embedded software for quantum computing applications, enabling end-customers to solve complex computational problems. You’ll be working in close collaboration with cross-functional teams to develop high-performance, low-level code for industrial-grade quantum computing solutions.

Our client’s work environment supports hybrid work, so presence at their Espoo Keilaranta office is required (1-3 days per week).

How to succeed in this position?

With 5+ years of experience in embedded software development and a strong background in industrial device manufacturing R&D, you’ll have a solid foundation for success.
Excellent English communication skills are essential, and Finnish is a bonus.

You should also have:

• Strong programming skills in Rust, C++, and Python
• Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and Embedded Linux
• Understanding of software testing (unit testing, automation) and CI/CD pipelines with GitLab
• Familiarity with Docker, Yocto, and SQL
• Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills in a dynamic environment.

It’s a great plus if you also have experience with:

• Quantum computing or high-performance computing environments
• Distributed systems and cybersecurity principles for embedded systems
• Agile and Scrum methodologies.
