We are looking to hire a Business Insight Developer to join our digital organisation data team. You will take responsibility for managing our master data set, developing reports, and troubleshooting data issues. In order to succeed in this role, you need a keen eye for detail,
experience as a data analyst, and a deep understanding of the popular BI tools and databases.

At a fundamental level, a BI developer gathers data from various sources and then reviews and interprets it using BI tools to provide meaningful information and insights to help businesses make better decisions. This could be decisions about any aspect of business, for
example investments, cost-savings, machines health condition, operations or scheduling - all of which can help to create a competitive advantage in the marketplace.

This role will be based in Helsinki, Finland and will report to the VP, PM & Digital Services.

Main tasks and responsibilities

• Identifying data sources
• Collecting data
• Sourcing missing data
• Organising data into usable formats
• Analysing data to find answers to specific questions
• Setting up data infrastructure
• Developing, implementing and maintaining databases tables and views
• Generating information and insights from data sets and identifying trends and patterns.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or another scientific discipline
• 3+ years of work experience as a BI developer/expert/consultant or in a related field
• 3+ years of work experience with BI tools (Qlik, Tableau, Power-BI, Google Data Studio..)
• Web software development will be considered an advantage
• Strong mathematical & numeracy skills
• Good experience using SQL language
• Proven hands on BI-Tools such Qlik, Google Studio, PowerBI and Tableau-CRM (in SalesForce)
• Excellent analytical skills - the ability to identify trends, patterns and insights from data
• Strong attention to detail
• Presentation skills – ability to write and speak clearly to easily communicate complex ideas in a way that is easy to understand
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
