We are looking for a new champion to join Kotihandi!

Kotihandi is an on-demand home services platform bringing convenience and accessibility to home services. We offer a web platform where users have quick access to trusted professionals, immediate help without paperwork, and for our partners, an opportunity to work whenever you want!

At Kotihandi we want our customers to feel secure and delighted with the services we provide, and our champions to have flexible work routines.

Our story came about when our founders noticed that there were a number of platforms offering a bidding service to consumers; which only wastes time and leaves our consumers more overwhelmed by the number of offers that they receive. Furthermore, none of the platforms provide assurance that consumers will get value for their money in case of mishaps.

At Kotihandi we want to be leading role models in taking responsibility and supporting our community. Being a part of our rapidly growing team as a Kotihandi partner you have the chance of joining something exciting and refreshing.

Currently, we are looking for a Champion Intern to join our team to aid in dynamic administration and customer support tasks from Monday to Friday between 8 - 16. Preferably you are a student in Business or Marketing and have great interpersonal skills for customer service. You can also be a professional who’s looking to jump-start their entrepreneurship career in a highly competitive market.

What will your tasks look like:

  • Customer support via phone and email (this requires English and fluent Finnish as the majority of our customers are Finns), as well as communicating with our partner companies in terms of scheduling or last minute bookings.
  • Handling of customer inquiries by phone and email - you are expected to grasp what we do and be able to direct customers to correct booking forms, or to even make last-minute bookings on their behalf. You may have to put out fires sometimes but luckily these are rare situations.
  • CRM - working with Hubspot and our internal booking system to update customer information, create order confirmations, as well as calendar management for different tasks
  • Other times you will get the chance to create social media marketing posts, or blog posts (if you love writing! :). Possibilities are endless, we want to encourage you to be free and chip into daily activities and the growth of the company.
  • We may ask you to draft different documentations that will help streamline our internal processes.

  • As we are still a growing company we can offer a small compensation package which contains a commission-based salary including lunch or sports vouchers - your choice!
  • Flexible working schedule: Whilst this is a typical job to be done during office hours, it is highly flexible as you will be working remotely, you can plan your studies during work hours. Some weeks are quieter than others, therefore these can be used to focus on other tasks such as: going over our internal processes and offering improvement suggestions.
