We are now looking for a skilled colleague to join our Nordic Customer Tax Reporting team – come and make a difference for our customers, the bank, and society!
About the team
Customer Tax Reporting team ensures that our customers across Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark are taxed correctly and that Danske Bank complies with current regulatory requirements in relation to both national tax reporting (including TRACE reporting), FATCA/CRS, and other reporting activities towards Tax Authorities. You will join a team of 20 professionals working across Finland, Denmark and Lithuania, characterized by trust, ownership and lots of smiling!
About the job
This position is primarily focused on national tax reporting in Finland and Sweden; however, it requires knowledge and interest in the unique regulatory conditions and circumstances present across other Nordic countries as well. You will be working across a large organisation with many stakeholders and daily dialogue with colleagues across the Nordics, Lithuania and India.
Your day-to-day tasks will consist of analyses, controls and adjustments. At sector level, you will discuss and assist in implementation of new legislation, coordinating the technical and operational implementation at the Bank. Your tasks will vary in complexity, and you’ll get to enjoy a versatile working day with a significant effect on your own tasks and projects.
About you
To succeed in this role, you have extensive experience within the tax area and an understanding of the financial sector. In particular, we wish that you possess:
-
+5 years of experience in tax, preferably within financial services, combined with a relevant university degree.
-
Strong understanding of financial products and regulatory conditions in the Nordics.
-
Strong project, process, and stakeholder management skills.
-
Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel. An understanding of IT systems and architecture is an advantage.
-
Fluency in Finnish, Swedish, and English – this position requires all three languages to be able to work with Finnish and Swedish taxation in addition to communicating with relevant stakeholders.
As a person, you are responsible, outgoing, and bring a positive attitude to work. You are proactive when interacting with partners and colleagues, and enjoy leading projects and activities of varying complexity.
We offer you
We offer an exciting role in one of the sector’s most important specialist functions. It is a position with many internal and external stakeholders, giving you the opportunity to build valuable specialist and generalist knowledge whilst expanding your professional network.
You will work in a supportive environment at our Helsinki office, located in Pasila, with a flexible hybrid setup of 1-2 remote days per week in general. Opportunities for professional growth are provided through mentorship and development programs, along with the possibility to connect with diverse teams across the bank.
Are You Ready for Your Next Step?
We truly look forward to hearing more about you! Please submit your CV and cover letter latest by August 2nd, 2026 .
