In Finland, we are responsible for the automation systems of the S Group's grocery and consumer goods distribution centers located in Bastukärr, Sipoo. We are currently looking for a Preventive Maintenance Technician to join our team and take responsibility for the preventive maintenance of automation equipment while supporting uninterrupted production operations.

As a Preventive Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the preventive and planned maintenance of equipment and systems. You will work closely with the reactive maintenance team to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the facility.

Your duties will include:

• Performing preventive and planned electrical and mechanical maintenance work
• Handling technical escalations
• Documenting maintenance activities in the maintenance management system
• Replacing and installing electrical and mechanical components
• Performing technical cleaning and upkeep of equipment
• Ensuring equipment functionality in accordance with safety regulations
• Monitoring and analyzing system performance
• Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults
• Supporting reactive maintenance when required

• Relevant vocational education in a technical field and preferably some previous experience in technical, industrial, or mechanical maintenance
• Good basic mechanical skills and proficiency with hand tools. Technical hobbies, such as working with cars or machinery, are considered an advantage.

• Proficiency in both Finnish and English

In addition, working in a fully automated grocery distribution center requires:

• Willingness to work a continuous three-shift rotation (rotation: two morning shifts 06:00-14:00, two evening shifts 14:00-22:00, two night shifts 22:00-06:00, followed by four days off)
• Ability to work at heights, as the highest maintenance locations are over 20 meters above ground
• Willingness to work in varying temperature conditions ranging from +22°C to -24°C
